Orphaned


I was over the moon. Coming out of the dark, I was not sure as to where I am.

I was primed up with snow white silk-satin clothes. My look was complete with a hood that was cushy white and had a handmade lily-white lace at the edges. Admiration in the eyes of the onlookers conveyed that I looked just perfect!

I was placed at a vantage position. The gleaming yellow lights were now trained on me, giving me the princely aura. I just couldn’t have asked for anymore!

But I missed those bear hugs, buttery touches, warm snuggles, cries and giggles…

As the days changed to months, I was no more prim and proper. One fine day, I was handed over to the orphanage. I was orphaned at the birth in a swanky showroom! 

My fate as the display crib model, led me to the company of equals...
