The Blend And The Bond

Akash* and Dhara*, were the perfect match. Together they teamed up like the balanced blend. Their journey from friends to something beyond, started from college days. Upon finishing graduation, he floated a start-up. Soon they were blissfully married. Her culinary skills delighted, satiated and at times surprised Akash.

Life decided to test their bond…

The start-up founded by Akash went bust. He remained mostly at home. Dhara did her best to keep him engaged and motivate him. The acute depression had a strong hold on him. He was sulking. She was clueless as to how she could help.

One day while cooking dinner she ran out of the spice mix. She pulled the spice box. As she put the cinnamon stick and the mace on the platter, she paused. 'They have their own personalities yet blend well. Are they not like us?', she brightened up.

“Akash, I wish to start my eatery. Would you like to be my manager?”

The twinkle in Dhara’s eyes took away the gloom in Akash’s mind!
