My second visit to Moula-Ali Dargha which rests on top of Moula-Ali Hill was no less memorable. This place always leaves me in awe no matter if it is the 100th Time I am visiting this place. Each time the experience one has is always different.

On that day D and I started from our place at round 4:30 in the evening. I owed this short trip to her since long. D’s friends also accompanied us on that day. It is a 30 min drive from our place to Moula-Ali Hills. We reached our destination by 5’o clock. There are about 500 steps to reach the top of the hill and D was very quick in climbing; I was very lousy at though and took a lot of time in climbing.

We reached the top of the hill by 6 Pm; right on time to catch a glimpse of sunset. As I said the experience is always different each time and so was this time. On my last visit, the sky looked like it was painted in orange, but this time it was more of pinkish tints.

It seemed like the sky was divided into two shades; orange and pink. After clicking a couple of pictures of the sunset, I turned off my camera and sat there just enjoying the sunset and the cool breeze.

The place from where you could witness the sunset is covered with a flat rock. It is like giant rock flooring. It is very rare to find such single rock which is so flat.

After spending about 20 min watching the sunset and witnessing the change of colors in the sky, we were back to our old habit of getting a picture clicked… Photos of mine never turn out well though! It is one of the reasons why I prefer being behind camera clicking pictures of others.

As it got dark, the view of the city looked beautiful covered with lights.

Later on, one of D’s friends suggested that we could try to do light painting. I have seen one of my friends try light painting but I never tried it. So naturally I was very excited. D’s friend showed me how is it done and what settings are needed for that. But there was a technical glitch in my camera and it was not captured as it is supposed to…

So, we ended up clicking pictures of light painting through his camera and the results were amazing.

We spend hours at Moula-Ali Hill and enjoyed the serene views. Also experimenting with camera to capture some unique photos like light painting is always fun! On the whole it was a blissful experience and for sure I will be visiting this place soon again!
